A cutting edge client is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their dynamic, fast-growing team! In this role, you will support the Payroll department will be responsible for data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should have the ability to communicate effectively with both the internal team and outside customers. Your responsibilities in this role

– Perform any other duties that arise in the course of normal business operations

– Facilitate company compliance according to federal and state regulations and guidelines

– Draft reports by organizing all summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages

– Handle specific weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for department heads

– Reconciling of employee deductions and other liabilities

– Take charge of all questions and requests related to payroll

– Supporting all internal and external audits related to payroll

– Proper payroll information maintenance by collecting, calculating, and entering data

– Collect and analyze information including resolving payroll discrepancies

– Calculate employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments and employee federal and state income and social security taxes to determine payroll liabilities

– Maintaining employee confidence and protecting payroll operations by keeping information confidential

– Understand and report necessary changes to payroll operations by maintaining established policies and procedures

– Updating payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers

– Offer proper review and verification of source documents

Job Requirements:

• Business Degree required

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification, preferred.

• Five plus years of work experience in payroll working with multiple locations.

• Experience with ADP Workforce and HRIS Workday, preferred

• Knowledge of US Payroll practices and regulatory requirements
