The Payroll Administrator performs a variety of duties associated with the running and auditing of company-wide payrolls and acts as a lead representative in the Payroll Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.

Oversees the processing of Hourly, Bi Weekly, Weekly and Semi Monthly payrollsAudits Semi Monthly, Bi Weekly and Hourly payroll runsVerifies payroll reports with Payroll reps and LLC controllersResolves questions and problems associated with the payrollsProcesses all off cycle checks on a daily basisHandles reporting to various government agenciesCompiles internal reports and provides reports to LLC controllers such as lunch penalty reportsProvides back up to managers on various projects, communicates information and direction to coworkers in the Business Process Manager’s absenceAbides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one (1) to three (3) years of related payroll experience; and/or combination of education and experienceLanguage Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, co-workers and vendorsMath Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometryReasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.

Must be familiar with wage and hour laws, as well as payroll regulations.Computer Skills: Must be able to operate a personal computer and other various standard office machines and equipment necessary to complete duties.

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Must have working knowledge of SAP Payroll.
