Payroll analyst

Premier Parking

This is a Full-time position in Nashville, TN posted June 9, 2019.

Summary The Payroll Analyst performs payroll-related functions, including payroll processing, payroll tax compliance, automated timekeeping systems and payroll reporting in a multi-site, multi-state, high-volume environment.

The Payroll Analyst provides excellent customer service to manager and associates and is well versed in payroll compliance, taxes and reporting.

Other duties will include:
· Ensures required authorizations are obtained for payroll processing functions
· Serves as a backup for Payroll Coordinator
· Performs payroll reconciliations for bi-weekly payroll and accounting
· Assists associates, timekeepers and supervisors with database training, payroll issues and requests for payroll information on a regular basis
· Performs bi-weekly G/L file upload and work integration issues between payroll system and accounting system
· Performs monthly payroll accrual entry
· Assist with corporate reporting requirements
· Support year-end close process
· Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
· Identifies current or potential problems with reports, analyzes the impact to financial data and proposes solutions
· Perform various projects for the department
· Perform other duties as assigned
· Regular and reliable attendance
· Ethical standards for data integrity and privacy Requirements
· 3 to 5 years related experience.

· Associates degree or higher in related field preferred
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products
· In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
· Multi-state, multi-location experience
· Accuracy and attention to detail
· Great Plains experience preferred
· ADP Workforce Now and e-Time preferred
· Power BI experience a plus
· Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
