Job Description: Summary:
The Payroll Associate is part of the HR Total Rewards team and is responsible for supporting the U.S.

payroll processing.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the position will be responsible for supporting the payroll team in completing timely and accurate multi-state, semi-monthly payrolls and year-end payroll processing.
Primary responsibilities/essential functions (including the following, other duties may be assigned)
Perform system reporting and reconciliations, including monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll reporting and perform regular data and system audits to ensure data integrity Process Workday integrations to the ADP ProBusiness system Input and review payroll related documents Process and issue manual checks Research payroll-related inquiries for the Accounting Department Support year end reconciliations and issuing of employee W-2 forms Facilitate the processing of unemployment claims with vendor and HR partners Identify payroll process improvements to drive excellence and eliminate risk Responsible for meeting monthly accounting reporting obligations, compliance reporting, and other data reporting requests as needed Generate ad-hoc monthly and quarterly reports Stay current on payroll regulations and best practices Provide administrative support to department projects as needed
Minimum of four or more years of payroll experience Strong commitment to providing quality work and attention to detail; work must be delivered accurately and on-time Knowledge and experience with ADP platforms and HR Systems, Workday HCM preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLookUp) Proven ability to work with confidential information, always maintaining discretion and professionalism Strong communication skills and ability to interact with employees in written and verbal communications Working knowledge of payroll best practices and federal and state regulations Strong organization skills and ability to re-prioritize multiple deliverables as needed
Education And Certificates
Bachelor’s degree Certified Payroll Professional or similar HR designation a plus
