Payroll Clerk ($15.85/hour)

 Job Summary: To assist with daily operation of Time and Attendance area with an emphasis on data entry and to provide assistance with concerns and questions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor clock in/out process for all seasonal staff members
• Monitor and enforce the Six Flags’ attendance policies
• Assist in the resolution of employee issues with the EAS/IVR timekeeping systems
• Assist employees in correcting payroll issues or discrepancies
• Communicate payroll policy and procedures effectively to employees
• Responsible for reviewing minor schedules to ensure they are in compliance with Minor Compliance policy
• Verify minor employees are scheduled prior to allowing those employees to clock in using EAS/IVR systems
• Assist with general departmental functions, as necessary
• Other duties as assigned by management

 Skills and Qualifications:

• Data entry and computer experience with a strong knowledge of MS Office Suite products
• Excellent math skills
• Very detail oriented
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Flexibility with schedule – able to work weekends, evenings, and possible extended hours on Mondays
• Friendly, service-oriented personality
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong problem solving skills
• Working knowledge of Park structure preferred
