Payroll Coordinator

Nucor Corporation

This is a Full-time position in Sedalia, MO posted July 22, 2021.

Basic Job Functions: Every Nucor Teammate has the safety of themselves and others as their main priority.

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for weekly payroll processing, corporate and accounting reporting including month end, quarter end, and year end balancing.

Monthly calendars, FMLA, LTD and various other tasks as assigned.

The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities is crucial.

The Payroll Coordinator must be proven to handle sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment and tact.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures and an extreme level of housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree in HR, Business Management or related field or 2 years’ experience in payroll/benefits/human resources, or related field No relatives currently employed at the Nucor Steel Sedalia facility Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Management or related field Direct experience with employment processes and employment liability Nucor is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer
