Payroll Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Manager to join their team in Boston, MA. This client is a top public accounting firm. They have been recognized regionally and nationally with many awards, and they support their employee’s growth and development with tuition reimbursement, exam assistance, etc. This company offers a competitive benefits plan that includes a 401k with match, pension plan, employee assistance program, etc. They also offer an annual bonus. This role has the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities will include:

  • Payroll Manager will perform and review payroll processing
  • Answer payroll inquiries
  • Maintain, update, and document payroll processes and internal controls
  • As a Payroll Manager, you will create and maintain payroll policies and procedures
  • Facilitate payments, coding, and allocations of invoices
  • Reconcile benefit provider invoices
  • Payroll Managers research and resolve tax discrepancies
  • Support the accounting close cycle
  • Manage audits of benefit and 401K plans

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, HR, or related field
  • 5+ years of multi-state payroll & benefits administration experience
  • Experience managing tax compliance
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • CPP certification is preferred
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred
