Compensation: $90000.00 to $95000.00 yearly

PAYROLL MANAGER

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for ensuring the swift and accurate completion of all employee pay. They organize and oversee the payroll, time and labor and absence management systems for the US & Canada. The Payroll Manager is responsible for management of the payroll team. They are also work with ADP to ensure the filing all legal requirements for taxes, audits, and other reporting.

Tasks Performed:
• Process and manage end to end payroll in ADP Workforce Now
• Update and organize systems to manage payroll information
• Maintain payroll records and files
• Format GL reporting and process with accounting team
• Manage time cards, time entry, and timekeeping software and systems for both business units
• Oversee, audit and reconcile absence management in Oracle HCM Cloud
• Process demographics file feed and ensure information is accurate from Oracle HCM Cloud into ADP Payroll
• Manage the payroll team; supervise and assign tasks as needed
• Manage future employee and system integrations due to M&A activities
• Work with HR, accounting and finance to ensure accurate employee data and processing
• Keep detailed records for taxes and audits
• Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting
• Ensure the company complies with all additional legal and regulatory requirements regarding payroll processes
• Strict adherence to internal company policies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an emphasis in Accounting, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing and 2 years management experience.

Skills Requirements:
• Excellent computer skills; experience in ADP payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite; Oracle HCM Cloud knowledge a plus
• Previous experience with system implementations and M&A activity
• In-depth understanding of payroll procedures, laws, taxes, and best practices
• Strong project management skills
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Precise attention to detail
• Comfortable in both a leadership and team-player role
• Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
