Accountemps is looking for a Payroll Administrator to support the Payroll department at a growing company in a variety of duties. The opportunity is located in the Parsippany, New Jersey area. This challenging position calls for a candidate with a strong sense of initiative looking to advance their career path and work alongside an industry leader. The company is a dynamic, fast-growing team, looking for someone who can communicate effectively with both the internal team and outside customers. The Payroll Administrator will be required to perform data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. What you get to do every day

– Devise a system of administering and distributing reports

– Build and run custom reports

– Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc

– Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system

– Deliver instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.

– Update data into spreadsheets and the payroll system

– Contact employees via email and phone to obtain timesheet approvals

Job Requirements:

– 5+ years of previous payroll experience

– Excellent data entry skills

– Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

– Payroll Functions experience

– Good understanding of Paylocity

– Quality experience with 401k – RRSP Administration

– Proven knowledge of Year-end Payroll

– Well-founded grasp of garnishments payroll

– Process Bi-weekly Payroll experience preferred

– General familiarity with Full Cycle Payroll

– Previous experience working with workers compensation

– Practical knowledge of Reconcile Payroll

– Solid understanding of payroll systems for 100-500 employees

– Process Payroll experience

– Wide ranging experience with Garnishments

– Proficiency in Process Biweekly Payroll

– Earlier work involving budgeting

– Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

– Payroll software experience is a plus

– High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

– Skillful in learning new processes and systems
