Seeking Experienced Accounting & Finance professionals to join our Salaried Professional Consulting team!

As a Salaried Professional Consultant, you are a full time employee of Robert Half (a Fortune 500 Company), with an Annual Salary, Comprehensive Benefits, Bonuses and many other Educational Resources; such as tuition reimbursement, certifications and career guidance.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities for the successful Payroll Clerk include:

– Contact employees via email and phone to obtain timesheet approvals

– Deliver instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.

– Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc.

– Data entry into Excel and the payroll system

– Enter and audit union calculations via Excel as instructed

– Download and distribute/save reports as instructed

– Build and run custom reports out of payroll system

– Payroll taxes

– Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Desired Skills

• 3+ years of hands on experience at a large corporation

• Strong Microsoft Office skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening)

• Great attention to detail

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Experience with 940, 941, W2

• Multi-state experience

• ADP Workforce Now, Workday, Paycom, Paychex, Paycor, PeopleSoft or other Payroll system experience preferred

• Ability to easily learn new systems
