Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Job Overview

• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of both union and non-union payrolls, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Utilize your expertise in ADP, Kronos, or UltiPro systems to efficiently manage payroll data, input, and processing, while troubleshooting any system-related issues that may arise.
• Stay up to date with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, ensuring accurate tax calculations, proper reporting, and compliance with wage and hour laws.
• Handle garnishments, liens, child support orders, and other deductions in compliance with legal requirements.
• Administer PTO policies and accruals accurately, maintaining meticulous records of employee leave balances.
• Analyze and resolve complex payroll discrepancies, collaborating with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
• Generate payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing insights into payroll data and trends.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Demonstrate experience working in either ADP, Kronos, or UltiPro payroll systems.
• Proven expertise in processing union payrolls, including familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and union-specific regulations.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data manipulation.
• In-depth understanding of payroll rules, tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and other payroll-related compliance factors.
• Experience handling various payroll deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings.
• Proficiency in administering paid time off policies and accurately tracking employee leave balances.
