Payroll Specialist

Accounting Principals

This is a Full-time position in Grand Rapids, MI posted June 11, 2021.

Accounting Principals is in search of a Payroll Specialist for an established company in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a full-time, contract to hire position that will focus on processing payroll and helping with other accounting functions. Position offers competitive salary, a great organization to learn and grow in and excellent work life balance! 

This role will verify, reconcile, review and process Certified Payroll data using industry specific software.

This position will also assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable. Ideal candidates will have Certified Payroll experience using ADP and strong Excel skills.

Process Payroll for 500+ employees  Assist employees with payroll related issues Process W-2’s Maintain and update files Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable functions Various administrative duties

Qualifications include:
Strong working knowledge of Certified Payroll At least 3 years’ experience processing payroll Multi-entity payroll background a plus!

Previous Accounts Payable and Receivable experience

Strong Excel skills Highly detail oriented and organized Good basic understanding of accounting processes Able to work under strict deadlines Great communication skills
