Are you looking for a new challenge, a great career growth opportunity?Look no further!PFG is a nationwide company, with a small town feel come work with us!Click here for more info!The HR Generalist is responsible for human resources (HR) support of Supervisors & Managers including personnel change notifications and payroll.Supports the Company’s culture by providing effective customer service to both internal and external customers.Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Assists employees with preparation and submission of all personnel-related forms on an as needed basis.Maintains all personnel records.

Ensures original records are forwarded and filed as needed.Verifies payroll information and communicates changes.

Maintains accurate record of employees’ time, including sick/vacation days and personal holidays.

Train users on the time and attendance system.

Provide support to Time and Attendance users by reviewing training and troubleshooting problems.Submits all personnel changes utilizing personnel action forms, including notifications regarding changes in pay rates, job titles and account codes/locations as well as payment of bonuses/incentives and tracking of employees on leaves of absence.Work with Department Managers and Accounting to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.May assist with the administration of such programs as the tuition assistance and Employee Assistance Program (EAP), along with employee relations projects such as company social events and charitable campaigns, etc.Facilitate associate relation issues during absence of VP, HR.

Gather necessary information, researches, and discusses with appropriate parties as necessary.

Assist with finding solutions.

Stay abreast of situations to ensure problems are resolved.

Keep VP, HR abreast of all situations.

Assist with creating, implementing, maintaining and updating human resources policies and procedures.Assist with providing benefit information to associates, by directing associates to PFG’s Benefits Center.

Encourage timely benefit elections.

Ensure necessary information is input into the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)in a timely manner.Ensure fair pay practices for all associates.

Assist with creating and maintaining job descriptions for all positions.

Ensure job descriptions are reviewed between associates and respective managers/supervisors.Maintain and ensure legal compliance of associate personnel files and HRIS database.

Assist in maintaining the HRIS system.

Attend training as required and necessary.

Provide ad hoc reports as requested.Help maintain accurate information regarding annual HR reviews (e.G., new hire, disciplinary action, termination, etc.).

as requested during reviews.Performs other related duties as assigned.

Drives self and others for results and is very bottom line oriented.Pre-Employment drug testing, including marijuana required.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired Experience: 3+ Years Human Resources generalist experience with three (2+) years in payroll.

Current and thorough knowledge of employment law and benefits administration.High degree of accuracy and above average communication skills.

Ability to efficiently manage time tables.Preferred Qualifications:Preferred Education: Bachelors Human resources, business or related area or equivalent experiencePreferred Experience: 6+ Years Human Resources generalist experience with three (3) years in payroll.
