Job Description POLICY & INSURANCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST The nation’s leading administrator of long-term care insurance services is looking for YOU.

LTCG is a leading provider of business process outsourcing for the insurance industry, managing over 1.3 million long-term care policies for the nation’s largest insurers.

We also provide clients with unique risk management insight built upon our proprietary long-term care databases.

This position is responsible for supporting the operational functions of the policy owner and insurance operations departments including check payments, billing, paying claims, running invoices, and other administrative support duties POLICY & INSURANCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES: * Processes new applications and assures that additional information is ordered per underwriter requirements.

* Performs follow-up research for applications with missing application requirements or risk management information (RMI), per procedures.

* Researches and responds to emails from internal departments, external case managers, and agents regarding the status and requirements to complete an application.

Examples include application missing information; medical records follow up, policy change requests, and billing related items.

* Records any received requirements into the appropriate systems and timely communicates updated statuses to relevant parties.

* Responsible for handling unapplied cash, processing policy and billing changes and refund and returned checks, invoicing, reconciling group bills, and working all new incoming mail.

Process inflation and Rate Increase offers, Rate Quotes, invoicing, terminations, servicing agent changes, Multi-life group set-up & Collection calls, Assist in Call Center overflow and process department reports.

* Reviews documented claim forms and contacts the insured, insured’s representative, or provider to request information needed to process the benefit inquiry.

* Processes invoices for claim payment.

* Creates policy owner correspondence and mails as appropriate.

* Heavy telephone support including: Policy Inquires, policy rate increases, etc.

?POLICY & INSURANCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTS: * High School diploma or equivalent required.

* Minimum of one-year general office experience required.

* 1 year experience in the insurance industry preferred.

* Must be able to type at least 40+ words per minute.

* System knowledge – Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
