Technical Recruiter

Women-owned staffing firm, in the heart of Downtown Detroit, is seeking a Full Desk Recruiter to focus on finding new business and identifying qualified candidates.

OB DESCRIPTION

The full desk recruiter will be responsible for finding the best talent for open positions but also, seeking and establishing relationships with employers to fill their open positions. This position is a particularly good fit for someone interested in joining a fast-growing, fast-paced staffing company and can work independently with little direction. Base Salary plus commission structure.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop life-cycle sourcing and recruiting strategy to meet company goals

· Identify and find new business orders

· Build active talent pipeline and source qualified candidates

· Identify new clients who have open positions to fill

· Cold Calling

· Craft job postings

· Investigate and implement alternative sourcing options (social media, job fairs etc)

· Review resumes

· Screen candidates and evaluate their fit for position

· Coordinate candidate interview

· Negotiate terms of employment

Job Requirements

SKILLS & ABILITIES

o Min 1-2 years of experience in recruiting and/or staffing REQUIRED

o Experience cold calling and networking for new business orders

o Self -starter and ability to work independently (be self-managed)

o Successful track record sourcing and pipeline building of quality talent

o Ability to engage candidates and clients by phone and email

o Friendly, assertive and detail oriented

o Must be organized and process-focused, excel at handling multiple responsibilities at the same time

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills

o Authorized to work in the United States
