Primary Job:

The Recruiting & Business Development Specialist provides recruiting support by recruiting eligible production and driving business development opportunities to APM. In addition, identifying and engaging with potential Branch Managers in assigned target markets determined by strategic planning and leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruiting activities and competitor awareness

  • Support APM with recruiting of loan officers, branch staff and branch managers to achieve the production goals and strategic initiatives. Recruiting involves making contact, creating interest and follow up with managers until hired. Individuals must align with the corporate values and be a great representative for APM.
  • Creation of business opportunities or other branch development through networking and membership in various associations, being the brand ambassador for APM.    
  • Attendance at local realtor boards/affiliations or similar Trade shows or various industry events as needed.
  • Supporting branches with education & consumer outreach opportunities
  • Have a good working relationship and understanding of the branch make-ups and opportunities in order to, identify and source good production for the APM branches in the region.
  • Align with Director of Recruiting, RVP, Channel Leaders and Branch Managers to identify potential Originators and move through the interview and engagement stages.
  • Maintain strict daily CRM adoption. Utilization of HubSpot for all recruiting activities, including conversations and task follow-up, is mandatory.
  • Achieve thorough understanding of APM’s value – tools, technology, products, resources, etc. as well as those at each local branch – in order to effectively sell the values to prospect. Adapt APM messaging as identified and communicated through leadership.
  • Discuss any branch opportunities identified with Director of Recruiting, RVP, or Channel EVPs for initial buy-in and approvals.
  • Assist in achieving 95% capacity in existing branches. Recruiting activities will be in all areas as instructed by the RVPs or Director of Recruiting.
  • Recruiting & Business Development Specialist to work with the RVPs and Director of Recruiting to provide a detailed business plan for expansion of existing offices and recommendation for new opportunities on a quarterly basis.
  • Assist in achieving 95% capacity in existing branches within the APM branch network. Recruiting activities will be in all areas as instructed by Director of Recruiting.
  • Recruiter agrees to run all recruiting activities through Recruiting CRM for tracking and Metrics.
  • Recruiter will provide pipeline reports to Director when requested.
  • Recruiter agrees to run special project and recruiting blitz campaigns as necessary.
  • Provide a detailed business plan for expansion of existing offices and recommendation for new opportunities on an annual basis with quarterly reviews.
