Job title :: Recruiter
Location :: Hauppauge NY
Duration : 12 Months

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will develop and execute recruiting plans to recruit talent for the division at all levels. Will recruit talent to include the sourcing of candidates, screening of resumes, presentation of qualified candidates to hiring managers, timely coordination of interviews with hiring managers, and assurance of timely and compliant offers to candidates to fill open job requisitions.
Major functions:
Job Specifications and Work Performed:
Develop and execute recruiting plans to best meet the talent resources to fill open positions.
Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees for qualified talent.
Efficiently and effectively fill open positions in a timely manner.
Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
Utilize the Internet for recruitment and research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment.

Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
Technical/Functional skills:
Experience & Academic Requirements
BA or BS degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of HR recruiting experience to include a proven track record in recruiting manufacturing and technical recruiting.

Working Condition:
General office environment. This position is based out of Hauppauge, NY.
Education/Experience/Licenses etc.:
Undergraduate Degree (BS/BA) in Human Resources or related degree, with a minimum of five years of experience in talent acquisition at all levels including Executive Management. Experience with Taleo Applicant Tracking System is highly desirable.
