Job Summary

The Recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify talent and hiring needs. Responsible for developing and maintaining joint partnership with various posting resources, like social media networks, job boards and employee referrals. The Recruiter ensures the organization attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

Job Duties

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy.
  • Assist in developing and updating job descriptions and job specifications.
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges.
  • Recruit candidates by using databases, social media, colleges, etc.
  • Screen and interview candidates and confer with hiring manager on hiring selection.
  • Assess applicants relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Onboard new employees; coordinates pre-employment checks and verification of education and licenses.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Develop and promote company’s reputation as best place to work.

Education, Skills and Specifications

  • BS in Human Resources Management or related field or a combination of education and experience. Three (3) years of recruiting experience required.
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter).
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews.
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
  • Familiarity with HRIS databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.

Special requirements

  • Must have a reliable automobile for use on the job (mileage to be reimbursed). Valid California Driver License. State required automobile insurance coverage. Must submit to a drug test and criminal background check as a pre-employment requirement. Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine Required.
