The day to day recruitment functions of Human Resources, including reviewing applications, resumes, conducting interviews, interacting with potential staff members regarding a transfer request, and completing paperwork and reference checks for new hires and coordinate recruiting events and activities. You will provide an amazing candidate experience while supporting the end-to-end recruitment process. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Lead full recruiting cycle from posting of position to on-boarding of candidate. Work closely with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations -Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent -Screen resumes and prospects, qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout interview process from prepping before interviews to assisting with final offer negotiation -Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals. -Conduct phone-screens as necessary, complete reference and background checks. -Conduct telephone interviews with candidates and facilitate interview process -Creatively source for open positions, and develop proactive recruiting techniques. -Establish relationships with local schools, and attend job fairs and other recruiting opportunities. Prepare, deliver and process new hire paperwork, offer letter and other pieces of on-boarding documentation -Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leads for current and future positions. -Actively network through industry contacts, association memberships, and trade groups and staff members. -Stays current on market trends, assigned skill sets, and understands emerging technologies. -Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection. Prepares all written correspondence to interviewed applicants to ensure timely notification of employment decisions. -Notifies colleagues of acceptance/declination of offer. -Maintains all records and files of recruiting activities, candidates, and outcomes to ensure availability and accuracy of information in response to all inquiries in the applicant tracking system. -Assist to develop and manage recruiting budget; prepares a variety of management and activity reports to provide information, trends and statistics regarding hiring efforts, issues, and/or concerns. -Ensures that all recruiting is conducted within legal parameters maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act. -Most importantly…you’ll have a POSITIVE IMPACT on our candidates through the individuals you hire, and a great sense of personal achievement Advertising Receives, proofs, and authorizes advertising copy; determines appropriate sourcing strategy based on understanding of applicant pool and most cost effective advertising strategy to maximize candidates. Works with the Marketing Department to develop presentations, brochures, and other collateral materials as needed in support of marketing our hiring efforts, Preparing and attending job fairs and recruitment functions. Human Resources Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual for all Human Resource Recruiter Sourcing Coordinator job functions. Communicate Royal Oaks policies and procedures as they apply to managers and staff members, referring to the employee handbook. Create and maintain job descriptions for each position. Full understanding of residents’ rights, including the right to be free of restraints and free of abuse. Is responsible for promptly reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) incidents or evidence of resident abuse or a violation of residents’ rights. Keeps the Human Resources Director promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance. Maintains confidentiality to meet HIPAA guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned. Attends and participates in training activities, meetings and seminars and assists other departments as needed. Exhibit qualities of a team player and interacts courteously, appropriately with patience and concern for the needs of the elderly and maintains a positive attitude while interacting with residents, guests, families, and co-workers. Addresses problems and conflicts in a professional and effective manner with supervised staff, allowing for opportunities of learning and growth, and facilitating such opportunities in a respectful manner. Assists in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment. Reports all deficiencies to the appropriate person, such as equipment problems, need for repair or special needs of residents. Confidentiality – maintain discretion when discussing sensitive confidential information. Knowledge and Skills: -Strong interviewing skills and understanding of line of business/skill set labor market. -Must be proficient with PC skills such as: MS Office Suite, Web based software tools and Applicant tracking systems. -Advanced effective people/project management skills. -Knowledge of Employment Law, Diversity, ADA. -Strong communication performance, both written and verbal including oral presentation skills. -High degree of professionalism and attention to detail -Positive and proactive attitude, accepting challenges and able to motivate others. -Organized, able to multi-task, think creatively and adapt to different situations. -Technical, critical thinking and interpersonal skills relevant to Human Resources to effectively communicate with applicants, employees, team members, department managers/directors and administration. -Ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision, to independently carry out the duties of the position. -Proven ability to work productively in an environment with high levels of interruption. -Ability to maintain confidentiality -Basic knowledge of personnel management, employment and recruitment techniques Education and Experience: -Has high school diploma or GED equivalent -Preferably a two year degree from an accredited college or university. -Preferably three years of recruiting experience with applicant tracking systems and MS Office Suite applications, with ability to use presentation, formatting, mail merger and spreadsheet functions. -Competency in the position maintained through continuing education Communication Skills: -Have outstanding communication skills; who can dramatically and effectively communicate an overall vision of the enterprise to staff members at all levels. -Clear speaking voice, must be fluent in English. -Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. -Excellent telephone and customer service etiquette. -Is able to react successfully and calmly to any situation that may present itself with a resident, guest, co-worker, or staff member.
