Recruiter (Entry Level)


This is a Contract position in Lenexa, KS posted October 9, 2021.

Verigent, a nationwide job placement agency in the telecommunications and technology space, is growing, and we are actively interviewing for an Entry-Level Recruiter to join our team
· Recruiters start as sourcing specialists, focused on developing their skills at finding quality candidates, conducting initial screenings and building candidate pipelines
· The next step is becoming a recruiter, whose primary responsibility is to identify and place candidates for specific jobs, both temporary and permanent
· Opportunities to move into other roles are also possible, such as business development, account management, and management Primary starting responsibilities include:
· Connecting with talented candidates to identify their strengths and interests, with the end goal of matching them to the jobs that are the best fit
· Posting jobs and managing the flow of applicants
· Developing an understanding of the skill sets in the telecommunications field

Job Requirements: Desired Qualifications:
· A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in business, human resources or communications
· Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
· Prior work history in a sales, recruiting or service-driven role
