HR Recruiter/Generalist

Private family office in Seattle, Washington seeks a resourceful, detail-oriented and self-starting HR professional who specializes in candidate relations and sourcing talent.

The HR Recruiter/Generalist will report directly to the Head of HR.

This position will prioritize sourcing and keeping candidate pools warm for certain positions, however, will be able to lean into HR programs during times when recruitment slows.

Responsibilities:
Creating a recruitment plan and calendar according to operational needs
Assist with development of recruitment forecasting reports
Create a process for engaging candidate pools in order to retain interest in our organization
Work directly with leadership to ensure proactive approach to leaders staffing needs
Will manage relationships with external recruiters when needed
Will consult with leadership on the recruitment and hiring process
Will be responsible for building out interview process, training and tools for hiring managers
Will manage formal offer process and collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth transition to onboarding
Will participates in succession planning
Manages a positive candidate experience for all
Will engage in collaborating with the team on various HR Programs if there are ever lulls in the hiring process

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures
Subject matter expert in recruitment best practices
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent speaking, listening and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with good follow through
Good time management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
An eye toward efficiency and willingness to make suggestions
Requires discretion, maturity, and overall good judgment

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred
At least two years related experience preferred
SHRM-CP or PHR credential preferred

Physical Requirements
Must be able to work prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
