Bonaventure is seeking a dynamic and driven Recruiter to join our team!

Our Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruiting process; sourcing, interviewing, engaging with applicants from the screening phase to offer negotiation. They will work with hiring managers and act as a true talent advisor/consultant to business operation managers. This position works from our main office in Salem, Oregon.

Bonaventure is a vertically integrated company that operates, designs, owns, and develops “state of the art” senior living communities in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage end-to-end recruiting process; sourcing, interviewing, engaging with applicants from screening phase to offer negotiation.  Coordinate, schedule, and participate in phone and in-depth face-to-face interviews between the hiring team and potential candidates.
  • Works with a variety of external and internal sources, employment and advertising agencies to find the best candidates for open positions.
  • Researches, identifies, and establishes business relationships with recruiting sources in local communities.
  • Negotiates conditions of the job offers within company policy (compensation, vacation, etc.), extends verbal and written contingent job offers.
  • Post positions to appropriate Internet sources in order to enhance the company job boards to assist in recruiting as well as brining forward new ways of using the Internet for recruitment, i.e., use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
  • Draft effective, engaging job postings that are position specific.
  • Communicate, track, and report on all company hiring efforts, including community staffing levels, vacancy reports, candidate movement and recruitment source reporting.
  • Capacity to provide strong customer service and work in a team-oriented environment.
