Recruiter – Skilled Trades/Technical(Professional Division)

Behind every successful team is the one person who makes sure every single detail is thought of, prepared for, and taken care of. They’re the multi-tasker, the most organized, the central hub. For WSI’s Professional Division, they’re the Recruiter who provides administrative and recruitment support to the professional talent acquisition team.

Your typical day will consist of:

  • Managing recruitment resources (Indeed, LinkedIn, CareerBuilder etc.)
  • Proactively sourcing, qualifying, and recruiting passive candidates through social media, networking/associations, and other valuable sources
  • Ensuring all online advertisements are compliant, accurate, up-to-date, and cost effective
  • Qualifying talent and manage applicant flow by:
    • Conducting pre-screen interviews
    • Coordinating follow-up interviews with recruiters and/or clients
    • Reviewing/proofreading documents for contract/external recruiters
    • Updating candidate resumes to ensure consistent formatting
    • Arranging pre-employment testing/screening, etc.
    • Preparing written professional candidate summaries for clients
    • Conducting and/or preparing reference checks and background checks
  • Maintaining candidate files (signed offer letter, references, criminal background verification, etc.)
  • Preparing recruitment and tracking reports


We’d love to talk if you are:

  • Have a minimum of one year of direct hire/ professional recruitment experience
  • An outgoing and positive team player
  • A self-starter who doesn’t need to be micro-managed
  • Obsessively detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills
  • Professionally polished in all forms of communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) with exceptional customer service skills
  • Digital/social media savvy
  • A creative thinker with a strategic solutions mindset
  • Experienced in HR/Recruiting OR office management
  • Hungry to learn


Successful Recruitment Coordinators often have backgrounds in:
