Recruiting Coordinator

This is a Contract position in Franklin Township, NJ posted January 24, 2020.


The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support of the Recruiting Team. Coordinates the processing of talent from initial sourcing to on-boarding and beyond.


  • Support recruiting activities to maintain an available database of screened candidates
    • Execute postings to various job boards upon an approved requisition
    • Initial review of resumes and direction to appropriate recruiter.
    • Coordinate materials for job fairs, and attend.
    • Maintain applicant tracking database/spreadsheet
  • Attend and participate in daily update meetings.
  • Schedule phone screens and in-person interviews.
  • Greet candidates upon arrival. Manage the transfer from one interview to the other in a smooth and friendly way to make the candidate comfortable and the flow seamless.
  • Gather feedback from hiring managers/interviewers and compile for the recruiter assigned to the position.
  • Coordinate pre-hire testing; schedule and communicate instructions to candidates (drug screen, background check, reference checks).
  • Greet new associates on their first day. Provide tour of office/plant etc. Make introductions to key management personnel and immediate supervisors and co-workers.
  • Manage on-boarding paperwork and introduction to HR Manager for Benefit Orientation.
  • Provide periodic check-ins with the new-hire regarding training and probationary period progress.
  • Back up for receptionist as needed
  • Escalates issues to Manager and/or Vice President as necessary.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience within an HR Department managing Recruiting, or working within a staffing agency.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment a plus.
  • Bilingual/Trilingual English/ Spanish and/or French preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency and analytical skills (Microsoft Office, Paycom, etc.).
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize own work load and quickly adjust priorities as required
  • Ability to work flexible hours outside the normal schedul
