Recruiting Manager/HR Generalist

Urjanet is looking for a Recruiting Manager/HR Generalist to join the People team.

The ideal candidate will be a true hunter and an analytical and data focused thinker helping to propel Urjanet to the next stage of growth.

This role will be 80% recruiting focused and 20% HR focused.

You will be the right hand to the VP of People.

This is an Atlanta based role that may require work onsite on a weekly basis. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full recruitment life-cycle across all present & future US based positions and teams.
  • Partner closely with the VP of People to identify, recommend and drive enhancements to our overall recruiting and HR practices
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure alignment on what they are looking for
  • Provide a high-quality experience for every potential candidate through effective communication and consistent follow-through
  • Maintain data integrity practices, ensure accurate ATS data and provide data-driven insights to hiring managers in order to elevate and improve the recruiting process.
  • Ideate and execute people initiatives: talent management and development
  • Drive HR excellence and process improvement
  • Partner with VP of People to advise, coach and counsel employees on employee relations issues, and formulate specific measurable actions to help them resolve issues, increase effectiveness, build relationships and achieve their goals
  • Identifies potential problem areas and works with managers to take specific actions to mitigate them

Qualifications:

  • College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required.
  • 5-7 years in the HR / recruitment field in SaaS
  • Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Knowledge of complex search queries and boolean search strings for sourcing across multiple platforms.
  • Expertise in HR policies and procedures and understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws in the US
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (JazzHR is a plus)
