Recruiting Supervisor

This is a Full-time position in San Antonio, TX posted October 24, 2019.

The Recruiting Supervisor is responsible for the overall performance of all recruiting practices, recruiter’s training, workflow, efficiency and success in recruiting qualified candidates.

They are also resposnisble for managing the team of recruitiers and reports directly to the Human Resources Director.

Review workflow of all recruiters taking into consideration scheduled hours.

Assign additional work as needed and/or take on challenging personnel requisitions.

Responsible for training recruiting staff.

Interviewing practices, pre-qualifications, processes and data maintenance.

Provide weekly overall recruiting reports to hiring managers
– request updates and ensures all recruiters are complying with data maintenance updates.

Monitors recruiter’s progress, audit recruiter’s data entry for consistency in recruiting practices.

Ensure documents are stored per policy.

Oversee aging postings; ensures job board postings are not duplicated and/or refresh as needed.

Implement staffing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool.

Ensure hiring manager and team preparedness during the interview process and that interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally.

Interface to negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management.

Responsible for sourcing technical candidates through networking, internet postings, deep web search, cold calling, job fairs.

Must be able to bring fresh ideas to accomplish desired results.

Manage candidate process and act as a candidate advocate.

Provide continuous follow-up to confirm staffing plans and candidates needs are met.

Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment.

Proven ability to effectively understand technical requirements.

Travel as needed.

Other Duties as assigned.

Ability to handle customer relationship management, provide strong customer consultative skills and work in a large-team environment.

Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum 6 years of experience recruiting for Supply Chain, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Telecommunications and other technical roles.

2 Years’ experience managing a Recruiting Team.

Experience with recruiting information/applicant tracking systems a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard; reach, stoop and kneel.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work Light to moderate lifting is required; not greater than 20 pounds.

Moderate noise (i.e.

business office with computers, phone, and printers).

Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
