Recruitment Specialist

Nesco Resource is seeking a Recruitment Specialist for a high-volume organization in Albany This is a contract position, expected to last about 5 months to cover an increase in hiring activity. The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for delivering all facets of the recruitment lifecycle throughout the organization. This should be achieved through working closely with management to develop recruiting goals and strategies to hire the top talent. The Recruitment Specialist is responsible to source, screen, interview, and on board candidates for entry-level and professional-level positions throughout the organization. The Specialist will maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Applicant-Tracking-System (ATS), including screening and interviewing prospective candidates, and leading the efforts in community and college recruitment. This position will partner with the HR Business Partners ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with the hiring managers to create recruitment strategy and plan for openings; collaborate with Business Partners to ensure openings are posted, applicants are screened and interviews are set in a timely manner. Ensure application forms are screened for accuracy and validates candidate eligibility. Conduct references and background checks for potential employees, temps and consultants. Prepare and send offer letters and any required documentation for onboarding. Assists with placement for internships and other temporary assignments, including preparation and attending job fairs, college fairs, etc. Coordinate interview panels and set up meeting place for presentations. Monitor and maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the ATS System; partner with ATS system vendor and other vendors, as applicable, to trouble shoot system issues and implement enhancements. Continually research, identify and recommend new sources for recruiting; act as the spokesperson for our recruitment brand and be outward facing to the community. Ensure our brand is fresh and updated to gain and retain interest. Assists in scheduling phone screens and interviews when necessary. Stay current on Employment and Labor Laws, EEO, OFCCP and Affirmative Action requirements. The employee agrees to comply with Corporate Compliance Policy and all laws, rules, regulations and standards of conduct relating to the Corporate Compliance Policy and has a duty and obligation to report any suspected violations of any law, the standards of conduct or Corporate Compliance Policy to his or her immediate Supervisor, the fraud and abuse hotline, the Compliance Officer, the Compliance Director, Human Capital Management or the Chief Executive Officer. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EXPERIENCE Minimum Two (2) years of experience in all facets of the recruitment lifecycle process required at all staff levels; strong experience with soliciting and interviewing prospective candidates required. SKILLS & ABILITIES Demonstrated experience in recruitment and creative sourcing methods required. Experience identifying qualified candidates through various recruiting tools and resources, including Applicant-Tracking-System/software, resume databases, job boards, internet and social media sourcing sites (i.e. LinkedIn) required. Strong knowledge of recruitment and interviewing laws (federal & state) and practices required. Proficient in MS Office Suite required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to work with and maintain confidential information required.
