Regional Recruiter for the Northeast and Midwest ~ Campus Dining

This is a Full-time position in Providence, RI posted November 23, 2021.

SAGE Dining Services® is seeking an experienced high-volume staffing recruiter for our North American company.

This recruiter would be working from their home in New England, or the Midwest preferably in a metropolitan area like Boston, MA, Hartford, CT , Cincinnati, OH or Providence, RI.

Our recruiting team works collaboratively with our operations managers to attract and hire passionate individuals who want a career, not just a job.

The recruiter sources and pre-interviews applicants and sends the best to the managers for in person interviews at our SAGE locations.

The recruiting team meets daily to discuss successes, challenges and best practices which help bridge the gap of each of the recruiters working from their home offices.

The team is part of a larger Human Resources group that is located in SAGE’s Home office in Lutherville, MD, a suburb of Baltimore, MD.

What you’ll do:
Work with managers to discuss needs and build rapport
Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, media, and internet sites
Determine applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications
Attract applicants by placing job advertisements
Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements
Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules
Interview applicants on consistent set of qualifications
Document findings
Aid in the new hire process
Coordinate career fairs for assigned venues
Join daily video meetings to discuss best practies and assess progress on vacancies.
What you’ll need:
Outstanding communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
Proven success as a staffing recruiter preferred, hospitality field a BIG plus
Bachelor’s degree
– intermediate to advanced skills
Awesome phone skills
Fabulous references
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Spanish fluency is a super plus, but not required
Experience working in food service is a plus.
