Campus Recruiter to join our Chicago, IL team.

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for strategic partnerships with colleges and universities across the country.

The Senior Campus Recruiter will take the lead in identifying candidates for RSG University.

In addition to sourcing talent, this position will screen and interview candidates, participate in career fairs and represent RSG at a variety of events.

This position will be an ambassador for RSG University and promote the program both internally and externally in addition to helping facilitate the program.

Essential Functions: Identify schools and strong performing RMI programs strategically located near our existing offices with which to develop partnerships.

Build and manage relationships with key RMI faculty, staff and students in these programs to make them aware of how our business operates and the opportunities available for their students through our RSGU program and elsewhere in our organization.

Attend career fairs (preferably RMI specific when available) along with RSG/RT alum from that school and/or other organizational recruiters.

Conduct face to face interviews while at the school
– if not offered as part of the career fair activities, arrange it with school contacts in order to take advantage of being on site Identify strong candidates prior to the career fair event, when possible, and host social events before or after the career fair for relationship building purposes and informal candidate assessment.

Speak to groups of students, i.e.

during class time or at a GIS/Insurance Society meeting to provide them with insight into the Surplus Lines side of the P&C industry, understanding of a wholesale brokerage’s role in the industry and career opportunities in the organization.

When possible, participate in other employer related activities with these partner schools such as mock interviews, panels and boards.

Attend multi-school recruiting events, i.e.

GIS international and regional conferences and career fairs and WSIA regional student E&S symposiums and career fairs.

Manage and maintain recruitment pipeline within the ATS.

Deliver verbal offers to candidates when requested by the Hiring Leader.

Work with hiring managers on offer details and to create job requisitions in the candidate tracking system Own full-cycle recruiting process which includes recruitment strategy and pipeline development, screening resumes, interviews, offers and pre-onboarding effectively utilizing the system and tools
Education/Experience/Skills: Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Human Resources, Business, RMI or related field.

5-7 years’ experience with sourcing college level talent preferably in the insurance industry.

Demonstrated ability to represent an organization in a variety of professional settings.

Demonstrated proficiency using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Demonstrated ability to build relationships both internally and externally.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver timely and accurate work products with sense of urgency as required.

Ability to work additional hours as needed to attend events, meet deadlines or accomplish goals.

Prior experience delivering and facilitating training preferred.

Prefer candidates with knowledge of the insurance industry but willing to train the right candidate.

This position may require extensive travel during certain time periods.
