Senior Contract Recruiter

Abbott is seeking a contract recruiter to support its Corporate department. This global shared service organization works across all divisions and spans across multiple divisions. The contract recruiter will be responsible for managing job requisitions, screening candidates, sourcing of passive candidates, and driving the full lifecycle recruitment process to completion.

This is a critical role that has a dramatic impact on business performance and candidate experience in support of a global function that is growing and diversifying its scope. Individuals should have 3-10 years of direct responsibility for recruitment, with some experience managing client interactions. Experience contacting and cultivating passive candidates preferred. Experience supporting diversity recruitment preferred. Corporate experience preferred. Fortune 1000 experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide recruitment and customer service for multiple client areas
  • Review account history as well as market and industry trends
  • Develop a hiring plan for each recruitment need
  • Interact with internal clients to define position requirements
  • Source passive candidates and provide diverse slates of candidates
  • Interview, evaluate and recommend candidates
  • Facilitate consensus building and sound decision-making among interviewers
  • Monitor account goals and deliverables (cycle time, cost, quality, etc.)
  • Address process non-compliance with hiring managers
  • Develop competitive offers and close the offer process
  • Facilitate an effective and efficient candidate process through onboarding
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with hiring managers and candidates
  • Ensure Workday database is updated in an accurate and timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of recruitment experience
  • Corporate experience preferred
  • Fortune 1000 experience preferred
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Superior customer service skills to maintain client relationships
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills (thinking outside the box)

Candidates must be willing to work onsite 3-5 days per week and be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
