Senior Human Resources Generalist


This is a Full-time position in El Paso, AR posted February 18, 2021.

Eatons Electrical Sector is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team .This position will be based at our brand new El Paso, TX facility.

nn nn Position Overview: nn The HR Generalist is responsible to support day-to-day human resources activities in accordance with legal, site, divisional and corporate guidelines.

This role will develop, deploy, and sustain a variety of HR programs for the site including compensation, communications, benefits, talent acquisition, and training/development.

nn nn In this function: nn You will be responsible to support day-to-day human resources activities in accordance with legal, site, divisional and corporate guidelines.

You will lead talent acquisition activities including outreach, recruiting, interviewing, talent selection, and onboarding to meet required staffing needs.

You will own the sites payroll, time & attendance processes.

You will partner with the HR team to design, deploy and maintain the site communications plan to establish effective communications and keep employees informed of policies, procedures, and events.

You will lead employee engagement initiatives to deploy our sites culture aligned with our aspirational goals to make work exciting, engagement, and meaningful for employees; make our communities stronger; and be a model of inclusion and diversity within our industry.

You will support training and development creating, deployment, and tracking for the operations.

You will support investigations on employee relation matters, provide counsel and support to resolve interpersonal conflicts and employee relations issues.

You will support activities to foster a culture where ownership of health and safety is embraced by all employees.

You will utilize MESH to ensure compliance with state/federal safety requirements and drive zero incidents safety culture.

You will be responsible for creating reports, analyzing information and providing data to make business decisions.

You will be responsible for insuring integrity in all HR systems with timely and accurate data entry and auditing information to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, laws and goals set by the organization.

Qualificationsn Required (Basic) Qualifications:nn Bachelors degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of human resources generalist experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Bilingual in English and Spanish Must reside within 50 mile radius of the El Paso, TX facility to be considered.

No relocation benefit will be provided.

nn Preferred Qualifications: nn Masters degree in human resources, labor relations or business administration Experience in a manufacturing environment PHR/SPHR Certification Bilingual English/Spanish Previous experience in a manufacturing environment nn Position Success Criteria: nn Strong ethics and values Strong customer focus Strong interpersonal skills Knowledge of HR compliance and legal issues Excellent verbal and written skills Analytical skills nn nnWe make what matters work.
