Manager in Human Resources is responsible for the operational HR support of the WageWorks business, with direct supervision and management of a team of HR Generalists.

This position is responsible for a wide variety of tactical and administrative orientated tasks required to support the ongoing business operations and daily people related transactions of the WageWorks organization.

The scope of impact spans all WageWorks office locations as well as our remote employee population.POSITION LOCATION: WAGEWORKS OFFICE: IRIVING, TXREPORTING STRUCTURE & WORK SETTINGThis position typically performs work in a company office location and reports to the Sr.

Director of Human Resources.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIESNOTE: The essential duties and primary accountabilities below are intended to describe the general content of and requirements of this position and are not intended to be an exhaustive statement of duties.

Specific tasks, responsibilities or competencies may be documented in the incumbent’s performance objectives as outlined by the incumbent’s immediate supervisor or manager.1.

Ownership & accountability for the execution of all operational and tactical, day to day HR support for the WageWorks company.

General areas of responsibility include general HR operations, employee relations, compliance activities, reporting, site based engagement events, HRIS transactions, documentation flows, performance management plans (PIPs), terminations/off boarding, approval management and ethics investigations.2.

Responsibility for leading and managing the WageWorks HR Generalist team across multiple site locations.

Includes all normal managerial duties such as performance management, employee communications, team/individual development, assigning of tasks & responsibilities, escalation management, etc.

Able to handle escalations and field complex questions within the areas of responsibility listed previously.3.

Ensures that all relevant HR people policies and processes are kept up to date and applied consistently throughout the company.

This involves policy reviews, coordination of execution across multiple sites and consistency in decision application.4.

Consistently coordinates with other HR areas and/or senior leadership to ensure alignment with the rollout and execution of various HR initiatives as needed.

Also ensures HR Generalist team is following any relevant procedures needed to support areas such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, HRBPs or Organizational Development team.

Assigns and manages the execution of various operational HR projects within the HR Generalist team as needed.

The scope and complexity of the projects can vary as required to support business/HR needs.6.

Responsible for the ongoing development of HRG resources ensuring the ongoing update on local and state laws as it related to Human Resources.MARGINAL DUTIES & ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS1.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESEDUCATION:Knowledge of Human Resources as normally obtained through the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Industrial Psychology, Business Management or Leadership.

Graduate degree preferred.WORK EXPERIENCE OR RELATED EXPERIENCE:8 – 10 year’s experience having led a team of HR Generalists across multiple locations in the US for a large corporate organization.SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:1.

A strong, hands-on knowledge of HR Information Systems is also required.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONSOccasional travel to attend training or meetings may be required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS & DEMANDSWork is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & DEMANDSWork requires normal range of hearing and eyesight.

Incumbent must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment and operate a keyboard and other office equipment.

The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with frequent interruptions is required.

At times, incumbents are subject to sitting for prolonged periods.
