Act now and submit an application today!What you get to do every single day- Arrange timely processing of payroll in accordance with labor regulations and standard accounting principles- Follow current payroll tax requirements and relevant laws associated with the processing of employee wage data, including payroll taxes, employee federal and state income and social security taxes and other required reporting- Manage data entered by others in the payroll software to include, but not limited to salary/wage increases, benefit deductions, employee termination dates, and employee leaves of absence under FMLA or other unpaid leave- Execute regular payroll reporting as required and assist with financial audits related to pay records and associated general ledger- Regulate quarterly and year-end payroll reports- Devise systems and protocols to direct the collection, calculation and entering of pay data- Study fringe benefit reporting, pay practices related to FLSA, and other payroll areas to determine how those practices apply to advise management- Collaborate with Information Technology, Human Resources, and other internal business partners to ensure security protocols for pay systems- Assist staff with general questions related to payroll, PTO accruals, wage deductions, fringe benefits and other pay related issues- Address voluntary deductions, as well as wage garnishments, pay levies, and other involuntary court-ordered payments in a timely manner, including reporting to the necessary authoritiesJob Requirements:- 3+ years of payroll experience- Demonstrated ability in garnishments, various withholdings, and processing liens- Earlier work involving Payroll Taxes- Skills in Process Payroll- Experience with Weekly Payroll- Good understanding of Process Bi-weekly Payroll- Prior experience with ADP Online- Proven knowledge of Multistate Payroll- Hands-on experience with Year-end Payroll- Experience with Multi-state Payroll- Solid understanding of ADP Workforce Now- Full Cycle Payroll experience required- General familiarity with payroll- Practical knowledge of multi-state payroll- Previous experience working with Process Biweekly Payroll- Quality experience with payroll for over 500 employees- Well-founded grasp of garnishments payroll- Comprehension of Reconcile Payroll- International Payroll experience- Local Payroll Tax experience- Wide ranging experience with Payroll Tax- Canadian Payroll experience desired- Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel- Imperative to have skills in an HRIS system and high proficiency with spreadsheetsFor immediate consideration please connect with me on LinkedIN (Eric Lebow) Robert Half Finance & Accounting matches skilled professionals with remote or on-site jobs in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more on a full-time basis.
