As a Payroll Partner Lead you will provide Payroll administrative support to the organization.

This role includes responsibilities for maintaining and updating processes, data and reporting needs, and operational support activities for the organization.

The responsibilities may also include assisting with employee relations and with projects for management.

ResponsibilitiesServe as subject matter expert for payroll; guide and provide resolution to other payroll personnel when issues arise with payroll processing.

Develop and document processes and procedures for payroll processing, including but not limited to tax, and compliance.Create and prepare ad hoc and scheduled reporting.Serve as primary contact for payroll vendors and service providers.Maintain effective internal controls and proactively identify efficiency improvements and gaps.Maintain company standards for confidentiality of all sensitive information.Perform complex and confidential functions including written correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents.Respond to routine internal correspondence and reporting requests.

Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, reports, and/or other documents as it relates to payroll processes.Compile and distribute (when required), update and maintain various employee reports and information.Ensure compliance to and assure conformity to all company, customer and government standards and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and company policies.Knowledge of tax and payroll requirements and processes including multi-state and local taxes.Have knowledge of payroll financial reporting understanding how payroll impacts finance.

Have technical experience with earning codes, job codes, BI reporting (report creation).Good understanding of stock options Restricted and transactions associated.Have knowledge of Relocation reimbursement and taxing implications.Preferred experience with the following systems: iCIMS, Kronos, UltiPro, Service Now (Case Mgmt.

System).Additional Responsibilities:Assist in problem solving and development and execution of stated goals and objectives.Assist with special projects as needed.May assist other operational staff depending on workload.Conduct and support payroll activities as needed.Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications5-7+ years payroll experience.

UltiPro system experience a huge plus.High school diploma or equivalent required.

Degree in an HR or similar field preferred.Proven ability to maintain confidential information and situations, accurately file, and manage sensitive correspondence.CPP, FPC strongly preferred but not required.Preferred SkillsHigh level Excel skills and experience with complex formulas.

Ability to understand and edit complex spreadsheets.High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations.

Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.Adapts to changes in work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with change, delays, or unexpected events.Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.Experience in project initiatives.Experience in Shared Services environment.
