JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening f or a Technical Recruiter in Greenville, SC . The Technical Recruiter is responsible for finding prospective employees for various clients across multiple industries, particularly in the IT and Engineering field. You will be able to help job seekers establish a long term career in the industry of their dreams. As a Technical Recruiter, you will take an active role in filling high level positions and communicating directly with clients to determine technical needs.

Responsibilities of a Technical Recruiter :

  • Plans and fills recruiting requisitions by meeting with managers to discuss recruitment needs.
  • Works directly with clients to determine current and upcoming needs.
  • Skill markets top candidates to branch manager and prospective clients.

· Develop & Generate new customer contacts

· Schedule meetings with current and prospective clients to determine hiring needs

· Fills a variety of positions across multiple industries, including direct hire, contract to hire, or temporary positions.

  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.

· Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services.

· Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, using various means, such as social media and job sites.

  • Contacts potential applicants through various means, including phone, text, email, social media, or job boarding messaging
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviews applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Arranges candidate interviews or tours by coordinating with management schedules; may escort applicants to client sites.
  • Meets weekly KPI targets.
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Assists Branch Manager with training new employees on day to day processes.

Job Requirements:

 

Job Requirements of a Technical Recruiter:

 

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

·       Must be proficient with telephone usage and etiquette

·       Must be proficient with computer systems, most notably Microsoft systems such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

·       5 years prior Recruitment and/or staffing industry experience, prefer engineering, IT, or technical recruitment experience

·       Must have above average communications skills

·       Must be comfortable working with people in both private and group settings

·       Must support diversity

·       Must have ability to comprehend and stay up to date on employment law

·       Teamwork is absolutely essential, must be comfortable performing with a team in a positive and organized manner

·       Must have High School Diploma or GED
