We are hiring a new recruiter to work with the existing team to source and manage all of the resumes and applications for our YV North Carolina and Ohio programs.ResponsibilitiesTalent Attraction ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement sourcing strategies for active and passive candidates in a variety of positions that include rural locations and/or stringent education and experience requirementsIncrease Youth Villages’ ability to serve children and families by finding and selecting qualified staff and building a talent pool of qualified applicantsDevelop and build comprehensive college recruiting strategy to help educate and prepare students for opportunitiesBuild and strengthen relationships with key contacts at colleges and universities across North Carolina, Ohio and surrounding states to help grow internship program across the state as well as promote opportunities with Youth Villages to current students and alumniIdentify and recruit the best students in the social services field to support the employment needs of Youth VillagesAttend University Career Fairs and other on campus and virtual events to present and promote Youth Villages and program opportunities availableBuild a candidate pipeline to fill positions more quickly and plan for growth across the stateRecruiter will oversee social media efforts for their team, including Boolean searches, as well as how to use LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other resources to find talent.Cultivate relationships within professional and community organizations to help increase awareness of Youth Villages’ services and opportunitiesPlan and facilitate interview events, open houses, etc as needed in high need, hot spot locationsExperience networking with other professionals to develop leadsAssist with recruiting and sourcing needs in other states/ regions as needed or assignedRequisition ManagementFollow Internal & External Recruitment Processes & PoliciesOpen and close jobs in ATSManage multiple high priority jobs simultaneouslyScreen resumes in ATSBecome an expert on the qualities sought in candidates for your region both on paper but also in interviewing candidates for specific rolesKnowledgeable of other social service providers/competitors in their region and remain up-to-date with changes in those organizations, which could impact YV’s ability to recruit qualified candidates in each communityRecruiters will phone screen candidates for open positions with targeted goals of the number of candidates to submit to managers weeklyAdditional ResponsibilitiesAssist in training leadership staff on interview and selection trainingAssist in interviewing and selection of staff as neededAssist in OnBoarding process as neededWriting job descriptionsMeet weekly with managers to establish goals, forecast future openings, and build proactive recruiting and sourcing strategiesRecruiter will problem solve with managers as well as evaluate and make recommendations for ways to improve the hiring processRegional travel including overnights may be required up to 50%QualificationsRequired Skills and ExperienceThis position is seeking a candidate who is committed to the mission and values of Youth Villages.

A solid understanding of the recruitment process, including sourcing, is required.
